This blog will be a chronicle of my adventures in México City. I'm going there to visit a really close friend of mine, Rubén, and his family. As in my previous Smell of Beijing blog from 2009, I'll be telling firsthand about my experiences and learning in la ciudad, including my desperate bid to learn a passable amount of spanish in 2 weeks.

Mensaje por mis padres (Message to my parents)
I called you today. You seem to be keeping up with the blog, but could you answer the phone next time? Or you can email me or something... but really. take some time out to see that i'm alive...
We are keeping up. Must have been out of the house when the phone rang and we aren't very good about checking the messages. Things are good here Max and Kelley are having play dates, the car is ready, and Parker is coming over tonight.
Suggestion, if you haven't already, post a reference to your blog on facebook so your friends can follow you. I do believe they appreciate it.
We are home every evening this week so try again. We would love to hear your voice.
